Overview

Consistently detects changes in the edge position of transparent/thin/reflective webs - over a wide field of view.

The ultrasonic Autowide sensor is able to detect -- over a wide field of view -- the edge of webs that are transparent or are thin films or have other qualities that make them difficult to be detected by optical sensors.
Not only is the ultrasonic Autowide sensor UHW051 resistant to changes in ambient temperature and humidity, this sensor for the detection of meandering web edges has outstanding features, including a function that automatically corrects the level of ultrasonic transmission when the thickness of the detected web changes.
The ultrasonic Autowide sensor UHW051 is a meandering web edge detector that saves time and labor, and is easy to use.

Overview

The Ultrasonic Sensor UH01 / UH01A is designed especially to detect transparent film and photosensitive material in EPC(Edge Position Control)system.

It can detect the edge of a web with high accuracy, not affected by irregularities in the coating near the edge of transparent film and printed patterns, which is conventionally impossible by optical sensors. Combined with Nireco,s controller, an electrical EPC system and electro-hydraulic EPC system can be constructed. The UH01A is a version of our UH01 ultrasonic sensor with a longer internal length(the distance from the sensor center position to the inner side of the casing). Internal lengths of 200mm, 300mm, 400mm and 500mm are available. The internal length of the UH01 is 60mm (fixed).

Overview

The A352-150-20 AC servo actuator is connected to a servo driver and a strip guide amplifier. This model is primarily used as an actuator (drive) for EPC systems. The totally enclosed structure of the actuator combines a highly efficient ball screw and an AC servo motor. The ball screw is driven by the forward or reverse rotation of the AC servo motor. The ball screw nut moves in the direction of the thrust, generating an external reciprocating motion.
