Overview

The SLH20B Laser Type EPC Sensor is a new type of EPC sensor that was developed to detect more types of materials the previous models.
Not only is the SLH20B capable of detecting web material that was previously very difficult to detect (e.g., tire cord fabrics, netted fabrics, nonwovens, wire mesh) but it is also capable of handling web shifting that occurs from passline variations. In addition, the CCD linear sensor has 4096 pixel resolution, making it superbly suitable for wide detection range (due to high linearity).
Detect webs such as paper, aluminum foil, opaque film, and webs items having gaps, such as disposable (paper) diapers, belts, cloth, cord netting, etc.
No need for selection based on detection objective
  • This new sensor can detect webs of materials hitherto difficult to detect (Diacord, netting, non-woven cloth, etc.).
Also responds to passline fluctuations.
  • Web shifting due to pass-line fluctuations occur no longer occurs,
High accuracy and response
  • The linear CCD sensor, with wide detection widths and wide light projection and detection intervals, ensures high accuracy and excellent response. Linearity is less than ±1%
